50mm LENS:

The Samyang 50mm T1.5 VDSLR manual focus lens can be used in cameras with image size up to Full Frame 35mm.

Optical Features:

Its Low T-number gives better light gathering power and greater choice when it comes to selecting depth of field. Its optical construction comprises 9 Elements in 6 Groups including a “H-ASP” Hybrid Aspherical and a Glass Aspherical (ASP) element. H-ASP gives exceptional reduction of chromatic aberration and great contrast levels right to the edge of the image, even at wide apertures. The optical surfaces have been treated with Ultra Multi Coating (UMC) to optimise light transmission as well as minimising ghosting and flare, working beneficially with the supplied petal lens hood. The optical arrangement also allows a close focusing of just 45cm.

85mm LENS:

Samyang Optics 85mm T1.5 VDSLR AS IF UMC II is a semi-telephoto manual focus cine lens designed for full frame sensor sizes.

Optical Features:

As Samyang 85mm photo lens does, this VDSLR lens also has an outstanding optical function. Optical lenses feature 9 lenses in 7 groups. Hybrid aspherical lens (H-ASP) has a specially designed curved surface to minimize colour aberration and realize exceptional image quality and high contrast throughout centre to corner of image even when aperture is fully opened. Samyang 85mm T1.5 II is an inner focus lens. The length of lens does not change when focusing so it is dustproof. Ultra Multi Coating (UMC) technology of Samyang Optics optimizes the light penetration and minimizes flare and ghost. There are 8 aperture blades designed to be almost as a full circle when aperture is closed which expresses star like ray clearly and beautifully.

135mm LENS:

The Samyang 135mm features a floating type design, one Extra low dispersion lens element (ED) for maximum optical performance. A circular aperture of T2.2 with 9 blades offer great bokeh for close head and shoulder portrait work, and short telephoto. To ensure high contrast and faithful colour reproduction, all lens elements have been covered with Samyang’s multi-layered UMC anti-reflective coatings. The design and lens coatings offer impressively low chromatic aberrations, ghosting and flare.

Optical Features:

Samyang 135mm T2.2 VDSLR ED UMC is a manual focus lens with a low T number. You may control the lens precisely when shooting under various exposure environment including relatively dark or too bright situations. This lens features 11 lenses in 7 groups especially including extra low dispersion lens (ED) to offer high resolution throughout the image. Ultra Multi Coating(UMC) of Samyang Optics is used to optimize the light penetration and minimizes flare and ghost. With such optical construction, it has 0.8m of minimum focal length to film subjects in the near distance. Also, the floating type design secures as much light as possible and maximizes the resolution by minimizing spherical aberration and distortion.

Hardware Features:

There are 9 aperture blades designed to be almost as a full circle when aperture is closed which expresses star like ray clearly and beautifully. The frame of the lens is compact and solid since it is made of high-strength aluminium alloy so you can create trustworthy images. Also, detachable petal-shaped lens hood minimizes flare and ghost by sheltering lens from unnecessary lights.
